There are hundreds, literally hundreds and thousands of men and women who would be made better simply by the aid of our helping hand.

When faced with temptation, he shunned it. When offered the world, he declined it. When asked for his life, he gave it.

My dear brothers and sisters, this day there are many souls to save.

There are deeds to be done. There are kind words to express.

Loving service, anonymously given, may be unknown to man.

But the gift and the giver are known to God.

There are oh so many out there who plead and pray for help. There are those who are discouraged, those who are beset by poor health. However, the needs of others are ever-present.

And each of us can do something to help someone. The Apostle Paul admonished by love serve one another.
